Delhi has a great variety of restaurants, from the street dhaba, where the dish does not even cost 10 INR, to reputable restaurants with a meal for two people for only 2500 INR!
Rejon Dźanpath i Connaught Place
There are many typical Indian fast food outlets here. The dishes are cheap and good, and the premises themselves look clean and fresh. The only downside is the lack of tables and chairs – it is assumed that meals are eaten standing up. Among Indian dishes, samosa and dosa in different varieties predominate, there are also burgers, cheeseburgery i sandwicze. Ice cream parlors have also taken over the delectable market of Delhi.
Nirula ’s Restaurant, in section N, at the outer roundabout of Connaught Place, is a famous gastronomic complex. Numerous branches are scattered around the outskirts of Delhi. Above the ice cream parlor is Nirula's fourth branch, Pot Pourri restaurant, which until recently was a Mecca for tourists. Seems to, that it's been losing a good reputation lately. The salad bar is worth recommending (set of salads 72 INR), while other dishes are not so good anymore, and the air conditioning was bad. Best to eat breakfast here, which is served by Fr. 7.30. Chinese Room Restaurant, belonging to the Nirula's Restaurant complex, It is also located on the first floor and offers Chinese dishes from 100 INR do 150 INR. The bar is nice, although a bit smoky.

At Janpath, in section N, opposite the underground bazaar, several fast food outlets are open. The first, in turn, is a branch of the British Wimpy network, offering burgers. Until the MacDonalds restaurant opens in Delhi, Big Mac is the fastest here (100% mutton!). This is, of course, an imitation, a 60 The INR for a hamburger and milkshake seems pure madness compared to the prices, what you used to pay for meals in India.
There are cheaper restaurants on the same line as Ringo Guest House and Sunny Guest House. Don’t Pass Me By is popular, a small restaurant, which tries to please gourmets from many countries. Anand restaurants are nearby, New Light, Kalpana, Swaram Vikram.

Indian officials come here at lunchtime.
Keventers, corner of Connaught Place and Artery 3, just around the corner on American Express, it's a small milk bar, offering delicious fresh milk. Na Connaught Place, between Janpath and Sansad Marg, in the air-conditioned Palika Bazaar you can buy cheap cold drinks.
More expensive restaurants, worth a look, are located at Sansad Marg and the Regal Cinema. Kwality Restaurant, Sansad Marg, works smoothly and is spotlessly clean, however the kitchen is average. El Arab Restaurant, right on the corner of Sansad Marg and Connaught Place outer roundabout, offers an interesting selection of Middle Eastern dishes; main courses within limits 55-80 INR; tasty bar sets 110 INR. There is a slightly more expensive Cellar restaurant downstairs. The Gaylord restaurant has even higher prices, just around the corner. The Volga restaurant on Connaught Place is air-conditioned, has great service and serves very tasty vegetarian dishes. The slightly increased prices are not an exaggeration in this case.
The Host on Connaught Place has good Indian and Chinese food, attracts rich Hindus. It is not a cheap place and it seems to be here easily 600 INR for meal and drinks for two!
One of the newly opened places in the area is Cafe 100, in section B. Serves good bar sets (105 INR), snacks and ice cream. Cafe 100 poses a great threat to the popularity of Nirula's Restaurant.

Near Bengali Market, at the roundabout at Tansen Marg and Babar Rd, the exquisite and pure Nathu's Restaurant operates. The restaurant offers good sweets and small snacks (chat).
