Craignano
Craignano is at a height 2279 m, at distance 16 km from Śimli. Accommodation is offered by Municipal Rest House, reservations are made through Water Works Engineer (71/815) in Simla. From Craignano it is easy to get to Maśobra, just away 3 km.

The town was formerly the summer capital of Patiali princes. There is now a luxury hotel in the old palace. To Cail, lying 45 km from Śimli, rides the bus (by Kufri). One can also take the route through Kan-daghat, the route connecting Śimla and Kalka. A choo-choo also goes to Ćail.
Hi, situated on three hills, On the height 2250 m, owns the Ćail Palace, erected on one peak, and a Sikh temple on the other. The town is also called the cricket temple. The tallest cricket goal in the world is located here.
WCW Place Hotel (01792/8337) an overnight stay costs money 500 INR, and staying in the maharaja's apartment 2000 i 2375 INR. You have to pay for a room at Himneel Hotel 400 INR. There are also some smaller hotels in Ćail.
Kasauli
At distance 15 km north of Kalki, On the height 1927 m lies the charming town of Kasauli. More skilled tourists will surely cover this distance on foot. A narrow-gauge railway connects here from nearby Dharampur.
barely 4 km behind Kasauli there is a picturesque Monkey Point. Locals and tourists are happy to come here for picnics. W Saturday, 38 km of Kasauli, there is a 19th-century fortress built by the Gurkha.
Accommodation and gastronomy – For 40 INR you can rent a room at PWD Rest House. Private pensions-Atasia also offer accommodation, Morris i Kalyan. After the season, double rooms cost money 150-250 INR. For an overnight stay entered by HPTDC Hotel Ros Common (01793) you have to pay from 300 do 750 INR. In Dharampur, tasty and cheap vegetarian meals are served at the Mazdoor Dhaba restaurant, near the cable car stop. There are rooms for rent on the first floor.

The narrow-gauge railway line connecting Kalka with Śimla was built in the years 1903 i 1904. Although the bus journey is not only faster, but also cheaper, many tourists prefer pleasure over convenience and choose to travel by cable car. The ticket price depends on the class of the car and is accordingly 36, 127 i 184 INR.1
At distance 5 km southwest of Kalki, on the road to Chandigarh, lies the Pinjaurus, a place famous for its beautiful Jadawindra gardens (tooth.: Punjab and Haryana).
Tattapani
Hot sulfur springs spurt out in Tattapani (655 m). There is a bus from Śimli (15 INR). Overnight in a Tourist Bungalows double room costs money 100-200 INR; in the sleeping room, large, 30 INR.
Bottle
Beautiful views extend from the height 2510 i Fagu (22 km behind Śimla). The town is famous for this, that in winter there is never enough snow here. Tourists are usually amazed by the presence of a research institute… potatoes. Double rooms at the Beach Blossom Hotel (Complete 28/5522) costs 275 INR.
Narkanda
Narkanda (64 km behind Śimla), is popular mainly because of this, that this is where you can see the Himalayas in all their majesty and awe. The town is situated at a height 3143 m, however, it is worth climbing a little higher to the top of Hattu (3300 m), where the views are even more magnificent. Narkanda has been a fashionable ski resort for several years. The season lasts here from late December to early March. Skiers have a great slope and a ski lift at their disposal. You pay for the equipment rental daily 150 INR. Every year, from 10 Himachal Tourism office organizes skiing courses in January.
From Narkand, let's go on a trip to Baga iKhadrala. Both towns are situated on the road to Tibet. Many tourists also visit Thanedhar, known primarily from apple orchards. The road from Narkand to the Kulu Valley continues through Luhri. Accommodation is offered by Rest Houses located in Baga, Khadrali i Thanedharze.
Accommodation Hotel Himview (»8430), hosted by HPTDC, offers double rooms too 200 INR. An overnight stay in a dormitory at the High Altitude Trekking-cum-Skiing Center costs 30 INR. Reservations must be made at the tourist office in Simla. Rooms at PWD Rest House cost approx. 100 INR.
Rohru
The village is in the distance 129 km from Śimli. Every year in April there is a fair that lasts two days. Celebrations take place in the temple of the god Shikri. The Pabar River, which flows through the town, is famous for its trout. In Ćirgaon (Chirgaon), 13 km away, the breeding of these fish was established.
On the way to Rohru, let's stop in Haktoti. The old Hindu temple of Durga has been preserved here, it has a bronze and copper sculpture of an eight-pointed goddess.
