The normal tariff is the most expensive – tickets in this tariff are valid throughout the year, from the date of commencement of the journey and are open type tickets (open), that is, the date of return can be changed freely without any additional payment.
O 25-30% tour tickets are cheaper, however, they do have some limitations on when to return. It may take place the earliest on the next Sunday after arrival, the duration of stay determines the validity of the ticket (maximum 3 months), and reservations can be changed at no extra charge.
Even cheaper, by approx 50% from the normal tariff, there are special Pex and Apex tickets. When buying a PEX ticket, exact departure and arrival dates must be specified, and their change is associated with large additional payments. You can come back the earliest on the first Sunday after arrival. In the case of the APEX tariff, these conditions are further restricted: the reservation cannot be made later than 7 days before departure, and the ticket must be purchased by 3 days (if you booked a ticket on 10 or more days before departure) be within 24 hours (when the reservation was made to 9 days before departure).
Often, travelers are entitled to discounts, dependent on age, the number of people traveling together or from the date of the flight.
Many carriers introduce special offers temporarily, which are much more affordable than fixed tariffs. They are valid only on selected routes and during the specified period. Sometimes it is worth changing the date of departure even by several days, to take advantage of the special offer and save a lot of money.
Tickets
A plane ticket is one of the most serious expenses in a tourist's budget. There are so many airlines and travel agents in the market today, offering services at various prices, that it is necessary to review even a dozen offers, to choose the most suitable one. People's hints can be extremely valuable, who have already returned from a similar trip.
Travel agencies are responsible for booking and selling airline tickets. After comparing several offers, mainly in terms of price, ticket validity limitations, itinerary and duration, choosing the most favorable should not be difficult.
After receiving the ticket, it does not hurt to write down all the data on a separate sheet of paper, what are on it. This way, it will be easier to get it back, if it is lost or stolen.
Good to remember, to take out an insurance policy a few weeks before the trip. If this is done just one week before departure, it may be, that it does not cover, for example, losses due to travel delays, which are caused by strikes.
Passengers with special requirements
Passengers, who require special handling during the flight, e.g. people with fractures, vegetarians, disabled, mothers with small children or those suffering from the fear of heights, should inform the carrier about it when buying the ticket, then remind you of this when confirming your booking, so at least 3 days before the trip, and additionally – when checking in at the airport. It's worth checking before buying, does another airline agency provide its customers with better conditions during the journey.
These tourists can always count on kindness and good care, The condition, however, is that the carrier is informed in advance about the problem. Disabled people are provided not only with assistance during check-in and escort to the destination, but also platforms specially adapted to their needs, windy, toilets and telephone booths. Unfortunately, this does not apply to toilets in airplanes.
Psy, who are guides for the blind, most often they travel in special cages with other animals, however, the smaller ones may remain at their master's side. They are subject to a 6-month quarantine, like all other animals brought into the country by plane, where rabies has already been successfully combated (e.g. to Great Britain or Australia). Deaf passengers can ask, make any announcements, both at the airport, and on board the plane, they were given in writing.
Children below 2. age, which do not occupy a separate place, can get 90% discounts or even travel for free. However, they do not have the normal baggage allowance. For children weighing no more than 10 kg, special cradles are provided, which must be requested in advance, however. Passengers, who have not crossed yet 12 years, they usually travel for half or 2/3 prices. Like the other passengers, their baggage allowance applies. Pushchairs are usually considered hand luggage.
Departure from Poland
LOT Polish Airlines does not currently have a direct connection with India. Planes from Warsaw to Delhi with a change in Frankfurt am Main run 4 times a week. You can buy tickets for any indirect connection with other airlines at travel agencies and agencies involved in the booking and sale of airline tickets, with a transfer at any European airport or outside Europe. The world's largest carriers offer favorable prices, for example KLM, British Airways or Lufthansa, but sometimes the bargains are among the little ones, less known lines. It is impossible to clearly define the cheapest option, because prices change, depending on the season dates or special tariffs adopted in a given company, even from week to week. Prices of the cheapest 3-month Apex tickets (specified departure and return dates, booking no later than 7 days before departure) from Warsaw to Delhi vary within limits 700-900 $ (2100-2700 zloty). 6-month tickets cost approx. 1000-1200 $ (3000-3600 zloty), a bilety open (with the possibility of changing the date of return) important 1 year – ok. 1300-1500 $ (3900-4500 zloty).
